CHILDHOOD 

I became interested in music at an early age. Growing up with a mother who was a gifted musician in piano and voice became my inspiration to begin my music journey.  

I was born and raised in Midland, Michigan and attended two different private schools leading up to my graduation from Calvary Baptist Academy which is an extension of Calvary Baptist Church.I started piano lessons at the age of seven and became very active in school and church music groups along with singing in a Touring Choir called Teens for Christ. At the age of sixteen I knew God was calling me to give my life to impacting others through music!

COLLEGE

After high school I enrolled in Bob Jones University of Greenville, South Carolina to pursue a degree in Music Education with a voice proficiency. During that time I sang for four years in an auditioned choir, took four years of private voice lessons along with traveling for sixteen weeks with an auditioned men’s vocal ensemble where we sang in 110 churches and 35 private schools. During my college years it was confirmed to me that God was calling me to impact through music for a lifetime.

CAREER

After college, my wife and I moved to Glen Burnie, Maryland where I led the Music Program for four years at Granite Baptist Church and Academy. Upon leaving this ministry God led us to serve for twenty seven years at Bethel Baptist Church and Upper Bucks Christian School in Sellersville, PA. During this time I led the music program at Upper Bucks for three years along with remaining active in many aspects of the church music program. Singing in the choir, preparing vocal solos and leading a twelve voice male vocal ensemble were among the many opportunities that kept me active in my passion for twenty seven years in Sellersville. 

Currently my wife and I still reside in Bucks County, Pennsylvania where I am active in the music ministry of Valley Forge Baptist Temple of Collegeville along with being a member of The National Christian Choir out of the Washington DC region.

In November of 2023, I began this new chapter of Journey Home Music where I desire to reach communities and churches through concerts and solo opportunities.
