Journey Home is a modern praise and worship band from East Texas featuring original music written by worship leader and songwriter, Shelley Green. Different members of the band have been playing together off and on since 1999, but the band officially formed during 2006 when they were asked to lead worship for a youth camp. Since that time they have been invited to lead worship for various churches, youth crusades, and events.  Shelley's song "Because" co-written with producer, Kyle Lee, was recently recorded by the Katinas and chosen as their radio single from the album "Still".  The nationally distributed publication, Worship Leader Magazine, included Shelley's song, "Relentless" in their July 2009 issue along with songs from Hillsong United, Mac Powell, Aaron Shust, Christ For The Nations, and more.

Journey Home's vision is to help spread worship across the body of Christ and to bring fresh songs to the church. Their passion is watching God connect people's hearts with His in worship. The band is unique in that five out of the six members are worship leaders.  Journey Home is Shelley Green - lead vocals / keyboard, Nicole Brooks - background vocals, Caleb Mabry - drums, James Valenzuela - bass, Tommy Green - acoustic guitar, and Craig Yeager - electric guitar.
